Are you waiting? For what? Better timing, more favorable circumstances, the stars to align, to be smart/fast/confident/good enough, etc.?
These are all the stories that fear loves you to believe: That you are not ready. That you are not worthy enough. That beginning is dependent on perfection. That you must wait until you are called.
And it delights when you hesitate because it knows you believe it just long enough to postpone your greatness, once again.
The truth is, there is never a right time....there is only now. You are absolutely smart/fast/confident/good enough at this moment.
You start now, you learn as you go along, and by that very action, you "do" it.
Everything else is the conditioned chatter of your outdated subconscious scripts that no longer apply to who you've become because the fact alone that you are thinking about doing "it" (whatever "It" is), means you are already capable of it. You couldn't have thought it if it wasn't part of you.
Look into the Dunger-Kruger effect and you'll see what I mean. Essentially, it means this: If you are self-aware enough to doubt yourself of having a skill or greatness, it means you have that very skill or greatness you doubt. And the opposite is true in this not-so-kind example: Stupid people are too stupid to know they're stupid.
The only thing you suffer is not having done it before. But tell me, did you know how to ride a bike before you rode the bike? No, right? And yet, you started by getting a bike, sitting on it, then pedaling....you may have wobbled or fallen but the fact is, you rode the bike. And you kept getting on it until it was something you didn't have to think about as you slipped into gleeful enjoyment.
Living your true life is no different.
So, what are you waiting for?
If you are waiting to be called, then know this: Your calling is the fact that you are alive.
Do not wait.
