Soul exhaustion is different than life exhaustion even though they may seem like simple semantic differences.
The kind of exhaustion I'm talking about is when your powerful purpose carries you beyond what is normally possible and leaves you shell empty with only your light pulsating.
As desirable at it sounds, I want to share with you that it's not.
Because this type of empty leaves you in a state where you blissfully don't care if you wake up in the morning before it's your time to really not wake up in the morning.
All of our passions are connected to a higher, natural universal purpose that is always intended for the broader good of humankind but like everything else that is natural, it must be fueled.
A pond does not refill if the rain doesn't come.
An example: "Doing" newness 20/7 for the past 4 months straight to create my own business from scratch, with each moment fully immersed the expression of my purpose (only filling my life with what I love), using that energy to fuel my actions, needs replenishment despite it's deep connection to the broader universal source, in a much broader way than the practice of daily self love (filling the Cup).
The reason for not replenishing life purpose is different than the guilt often associated with self non-love....the reason is found simply in it's nature . It gives you the immense power of being connected to a higher source that keeps you going beyond your amazing physical and mental limits. It's unstoppable. But, it requires its deep immersion of being deeply connected to its "nothingness and everything-ness" to refill its force for however long that may take. Not doing so is a broader violation of a universal natural law.
And it doesn't feel good.
So as you continue on your true path, please remember to create space for your soul's personal inspiration, in whatever form that takes, no matter how much time that takes.
The universe can't find you otherwise even when you're in it and you will become very, very tired.
So, I'm finding time to do nothing other than sitting outside to sit in the rare California rain and do....nothing.
I hope to see you there, too.
I'm so tired that my tired is tired. Unknown
