Many of have been taught that we are free to do what we want and achieve whatever we put our minds to with hard work...That our lives are blank pages on which our souls can freely express its purpose without hinderance.
And yet, like an unseen shadow, there are patterns and criss-crosses that may or may not support those brushstrokes that one's soul can be layer over or get entangled within.
These stories and scripts, although we can't see them, mar the blank page and direct our actions and circumstances so that what we think we have control over is really an exercise in excessive effort to work against the unseen.
These are stories of our heritage, our youth, of humankind's evolution, all leaving their fingerprints' grooves that we follow without questioning whether we agree with it or not.
One can fight like a cat to get what is desired or one can find the courage to put on soulful glasses to gracefully see what the shadow has to keep one's soul on track.
Either way is fine as long you keep going.
I can tell you, from my experience and what I've seen after working with others, that the way to surpass the undercurrent of challenges involves going to the still deep waters with compassion and open palms for just a moment to understand its essence.
Only then can you see that part of truth, can you transmute it into your full soul's intelligence and truly start with a blank page so life unfolds with grace and ease.
You can start by double clicking down through a challenge to find its essential value or visceral charge to understand what part of our north star was stymied. Rather than embellishing it and staying stuck there, understand instead its existence as a simple (although strong reminder) means to point you in the direction of your life purpose.
And if you need help in identifying what part of your north star was violated, it's a simple as identifying the flip-side of the challenge's essence.
If a story represents a challenge of constriction, could it be part of your north star is about expansion? Is your soul trying to expand? If so, how can you start to do so without doing anything drastic to external circumstances?
It'a a good place to start to unwind the shadow and really start with a blank page so that the story you write is one of your choosing.
